Zaahir Mcgough, a Lead Escort Attendant at Temple University Hospital – Main Campus, has received the Service Excellence Employee of the Month Award. The recognition highlights his consistent commitment to assisting patients and coworkers throughout the hospital.

According to his nomination, “Zaahir consistently exceeds expectations every time he enters the building. He is engaged with patients and visitors, greeting everyone in the halls and always being pleasant. On multiple occasions, I have seen another coworker struggling or needing help, and Zaahir is always there at the right time to assist. One day, during an emergent situation, Zaahir put himself in a difficult space to retrieve a patient for pickup. He displayed courage, determination, and teamwork, and should be recognized for his efforts.”

Temple University Hospital – Main Campus recently announced that starting September 3 at 8:00 AM, it will no longer provide Labor and Delivery services at its Broad and Ontario Streets location. All childbirth services are being relocated to a new hospital site.
