Travis Konecny named NHL’s Third Star of the Week after leading Flyers’ offense

Flyers forward Travis Konecny has been named the NHL’s Third Star of the Week for January 26 to February 1, 2026. During this period, Konecny led all NHL players in goals and contributed to seven of the Flyers’ eight total goals, recording five goals and two assists.

Konecny and the Flyers were held scoreless in a 4-0 loss to the New York Islanders on January 26. However, he responded by scoring his third career hat trick during a 5-3 loss against the Columbus Blue Jackets on January 28. In each of his next two games, Konecny posted one goal and one assist.

At age 28, Konecny is playing his tenth season in the NHL, all with Philadelphia. He currently leads the team in goals (22), assists (30), and points (52) through 53 games in the 2025-26 season.
