Lauren T. Murphy, MD, who serves as Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, was interviewed by The New York Times to discuss an increase in cannabis poisoning cases among children and teenagers. According to Dr. Murphy, these cases can include symptoms such as seizures and serious breathing issues.

Dr. Murphy stated, “The number of children and teens that are suffering symptoms of cannabis poisonings, including seizures and life-threatening breathing problems,” has been rising.
