0Comments

Avrum Gillespie, MD, who serves as a Professor of Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, recently spoke to Everyday Health about focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS). FSGS is a disease that affects the kidneys’ ability to filter waste from the blood. This impairment can lead to an accumulation of waste in the body, resulting in symptoms such as fatigue and weakness.

Dr. Gillespie discussed approaches for managing fatigue associated with FSGS and shared advice on ways patients might increase their energy levels.

A notice was also issued informing patients that Labor & Delivery services have moved from Temple University Hospital–Main Campus (Broad & Ontario) to a new women & families hospital.
