Rajiv Bhuta, MD, Assistant Professor of Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, provided his perspective to Medscape regarding a recent study. The study examined whether regular use of artificial intelligence (AI) during colonoscopies could result in endoscopists losing their procedural skills, which may have an impact on patient care.
