Jamie Garfield, MD, Professor of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, contributed expert commentary to Everyday Health for two recent articles focused on idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). In one article, Dr. Garfield discussed how environmental factors—including temperature, humidity, air quality, and seasonal changes—can affect individuals living with IPF.
