Lin Zhu, PhD, Assistant Professor of Urban Health and Population Science at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, was featured on WHYY’s The Pulse to discuss her recent research. Dr. Zhu is using data from the All of Us program, an initiative by the National Institutes of Health that gathers comprehensive health information from close to a million participants across the United States.
Her study focuses on how lifestyle choices influence cardiovascular health in people living with chronic hepatitis B. Chronic hepatitis B is known to disproportionately affect Asian American communities. Dr. Zhu’s research aims to understand how behaviors such as diet and exercise impact health outcomes for these patients.
