Temple Health has been recognized as an ‘Employer of Choice’ by the City of Philadelphia, according to a recent highlight from MyChesco. The award is given to organizations in Philadelphia that demonstrate strong recruitment, retention, and promotion practices aimed at closing skills gaps and supporting economic mobility.

Only 15 employers received this distinction. The recognition underscores Temple Health’s efforts in workforce development and employee advancement within the region.

The announcement comes as a major winter storm is expected to impact the Philadelphia area over the weekend into Monday. Temple Health stated it will remain open during this period but noted that some appointments or services may be adjusted due to weather conditions. Patients affected by any changes will be contacted directly, and updates will be posted on TempleHealth.org.

“Temple Health was one of only 15 employers to receive this honor,” according to MyChesco.
