Temple Health-Chestnut Hill Hospital has been included in Forbes’ first-ever list of top hospitals, an effort aimed at helping patients identify facilities that provide high-quality and valuable medical care.

Forbes developed the rankings by evaluating general acute care hospitals nationwide. The assessment focused on factors such as clinical patient outcomes, adherence to best practices, value of services provided, and patient experience. These rankings serve as a reference point for hospitals to compare their performance with peers.

Abhi Rastogi, MBA, MIS, President & CEO of Temple Health, commented on the achievement: “This deserved recognition reflects the hard work and dedication of so many. It shows how Temple is raising the bar for what patients should expect from healthcare.”

Richard Newell, MPT, DPT, President & CEO of Chestnut Hill Hospital, also spoke about the recognition: “We’re proud to have received national recognition as a top hospital from Forbes. Our clinical teams, with strong support from the Temple Health system, have been focused on enhancing our quality of care. We’ve made significant improvements, especially around hospital-acquired infections and pressure injuries. That’s thanks to the hard work and collaboration of our teams, who always put our patients first.”
