Temple Health-Chestnut Hill Hospital held a cookie bake-off inspired by March Madness on March 17, the first day of the basketball tournament. Sixteen staff members participated in the competition, which followed a bracket-style format similar to the popular sports event.
The event brought together hospital employees for a friendly contest, with cookies judged based on smell, taste, and appearance. Each entry was scored on a scale from one to five.
Tausha Saunders, Associate General Counsel at Chestnut Hill Hospital, emerged as the winner after several rounds of judging. NBC10 covered the event and interviewed Carlie Kamnik, RD, CNSC, LDN, and Bryce Garrett during the festivities.
The bake-off provided an opportunity for staff to engage in team-building activities while celebrating the excitement of March Madness within the hospital community.
As hospitals continue to look for ways to foster camaraderie among employees, events like this offer a break from routine and encourage participation across departments.
