Ezekiel Hall became the first baby born at Temple Health in 2026, marking the first New Year’s birth at the newly opened Temple Women & Families Hospital. The hospital, located in Philadelphia, is the city’s only facility dedicated exclusively to women’s health and infant care.
Ezekiel was born to his mother Natalie at 12:10 am. According to Temple Health, “Both mom and baby are doing great—and enjoying the gift basket provided by Labor & Delivery staff!”
Temple Women & Families Hospital features family-friendly birthing suites, a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and has earned a Baby-Friendly designation. The hospital was designed based on community input and aims to provide high-quality maternity services in a modern environment.
The Labor & Delivery services were recently moved from Temple University Hospital–Main Campus (Broad & Ontario) to this new facility.
“Temple Women & Families Hospital provides an exceptional birthing experience for parents and babies. Designed in response to the community’s needs, the hospital is delivering expert, highest-quality services in a beautiful, spacious environment—and setting the standard for outcomes-focused maternity care in Philadelphia and across the country,” according to information provided by Temple Health.
