Temple Health has adopted a new technology for diabetes management, the EndoTool Sub-Q (SQ) predictive software system. This system was recently highlighted in an article by Becker’s Hospital Review. The EndoTool SQ uses algorithms to model, predict, and adapt subcutaneous insulin dosing recommendations tailored to each patient. According to Temple Health, this approach is intended to improve the accuracy of dosing and enable more personalized care.
The Becker’s Q&A included comments from several leaders at Temple Health: Chaudron Carter Short, PhD, EdD, MHA, MHEd, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, Executive Vice President and Chief Nurse Executive; Carl Sirio, MD, Chief Medical Officer; Benjamin Slovis, MD, Chief Medical Information Officer at Temple University Hospital; Joy Weaver, DNP, MSN, RN-BC, Senior Clinical Performance Excellence Manager; and David Fleece, MD, Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University.
