After leading Philadelphia Union to a victory, Quinn Sullivan has been selected for the MLS Team of the Matchday. The league made the announcement on Monday.
Sullivan, a Union homegrown player, delivered an impressive performance at Subaru Park on Saturday night. He scored his first goal of the season and provided an assist in the 3-0 win over Atlanta United.
In the 27th minute, Sullivan's volley secured the lead for the Boys in Blue amidst a chaotic sequence. His assist came in the 84th minute as he chased down a cross from Kai Wagner, preventing it from going out of bounds before setting up Baribo for the final goal.
Philadelphia Union's upcoming match is against D.C. United, featuring a Kids Day event. Postgame, children 14 and under can take a shot on goal. Tickets and registration details for the April 26th event are now available. The match will start at 4:30 PM ET at Subaru Park.
