Philadelphia Union Academy is preparing for the upcoming MLS NEXT Fest in California, scheduled from December 6th to 11th. This event marks the first major competition of the calendar following the conclusion of the MLS NEXT fall season.

The academy will be represented by its U-18 and U-16 teams. Each team is set to compete in three matches during the event. The U-18s, who are two-time defending Generation adidas Cup winners, will face FC Cincinnati, Real Salt Lake, and LAFC. Meanwhile, the undefeated U-16s will play against FC Dallas, Minnesota United, and Columbus Crew.
