Philadelphia Union II is set to face Columbus Crew 2 in the Eastern Conference Final of the MLS NEXT Pro playoffs. The match will take place at Subaru Park on Saturday, November 2nd, at 6 PM.

Union II has shown significant progress during their playoff run, securing their first-ever postseason victory against New York City FC II. CJ Olney was pivotal in this win, scoring a decisive goal in the 86th minute. In the Eastern Conference Semifinal, Union II triumphed over Crown Legacy in a penalty shootout, with Andrew Rick making crucial saves and Olney again delivering the winning shot.

This season has been notable for Union II as they achieved their highest finish in the conference table with 15 wins and 52 points. They boast the league's best offense with 59 goals and hold the second-best defense in the East. Eddy Davis III set a new single-season scoring record for the club with 13 goals. Players like CJ Olney, Andrew Rick, and David Vazquez have also made an impact, earning MLS homegrown deals.

The upcoming match marks the fourth encounter between these two teams this season. Previously, each home team won their respective matches. Notably, Union II secured a home victory with a score of 3-1 thanks to Sal Olivas' two goals.

Columbus Crew 2 is aiming for another appearance at the MLS NEXT Pro Cup after consecutive road victories as they entered as the No. 7 seed. They started their playoff journey with a commanding win over Inter Miami CF and continued their form by defeating Chicago Fire II.

Both teams are eager to secure a spot in the MLS NEXT Pro Cup final through this decisive matchup.
