For the third consecutive week, the Eagles are set to face an NFC South team. This time, they will be on the road again, playing against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Buccaneers currently hold a 2-1 record but are coming off a 26-7 loss to Denver.
The mood in the Eagles' locker room remains positive as they prepare for their upcoming game. Tight end Dallas Goedert emphasized moving forward after his standout performance last week. "Move on. It's all focused on Tampa Bay this week and doing whatever we can to get ready to go down there and play and put together a good plan and continue trending in the right direction," he said.
Goedert is prepared to take on any role required of him, whether as a primary pass catcher or in blocking duties. "I set a goal of being a three-down tight end when I came into this league," he noted. Reflecting on his previous game's performance, he added, "It was a ton of fun, but I was most glad that we were able to pull out the game late and win."
Quarterback Kenny Pickett is also ready to step up if needed behind starter Jalen Hurts. "It's been good. I've learned a lot being here in this system from these guys and I've stayed in the routine I had when I started in Pittsburgh," Pickett shared.
Wide receiver Parris Campbell has faced challenges but remains optimistic after not making the initial 53-man roster due to injury setbacks. He has been called up from the practice squad for recent games and continues to prepare diligently. "Every time you get out there, you're a better player," Campbell stated.
Veteran defensive player Brandon Graham is contributing significantly in his 15th season with increased playing time and consistent energy on defense. Reflecting on past experiences with Tampa Bay, Graham said, "We've played them plenty of times and we know what they do... Last year is over... This is a new team and a new season."
The Eagles look forward to facing Tampa Bay with hopes of securing another win.
