The Eagles announced a series of roster moves prior to practice on Thursday.

Promoted LB Oren Burks to the 53-man roster:

Signed by the Eagles as a free agent in the offseason, veteran linebacker Oren Burks was limited for most of Training Camp and the preseason with a knee injury. He returned to action in time for the preseason finale but was released during the roster cutdown.

In six NFL seasons (four with the Packers and two with San Francisco), Burks recorded 130 tackles, two sacks, and an interception in 91 career games (15 starts). Burks also possesses considerable big-game experience with 11 playoff games under his belt. He started for the 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII this past season. He also has extensive special teams reps with 46 career tackles.

Placed DB James Bradberry on Injured Reserve:

The veteran cornerback who made the transition to safety this offseason was placed on Injured Reserve with an undisclosed injury. Burks takes Bradberry's spot on the 53-man roster.

Signed T/G Brett Toth to the practice squad:

Toth spent Training Camp and the preseason with the Eagles. He was released during the roster cutdown. The versatile lineman lined up primarily at guard and center in Training Camp, earning reps with the first-team unit when other players were out of the lineup.

Toth has a long history with the Eagles. Originally signed as a rookie free agent out of Army in 2019, Toth first saw regular-season action for the Eagles in 2020, playing in six games with a start. In his five seasons with the Eagles, Cardinals, and Panthers, Toth has suited up in 20 games while starting two of those contests.
