DROP-IN MINDFULNESS WITH KIMBERLY

Mindfulness at its most basic form is a practice to cultivate attention. It's not just about what we pay attention to but how we pay attention. The benefits of Mindfulness include a reduction in stress, higher mental functioning, an increase in compassion and an overall sense of wholeness.
Join CHC grad student and Disability Resource Center grad assistant, Kimberly Everett, on a journey to Mindfulness, every Wednesday starting February 16th. Everett completed a nine-month-long training course called the Compassion Project which focuses on Mindfulness and contemplative techniques. She also teaches Mindfulness and Yoga in schools in and around Philadelphia.
