Six members of the Penn Quakers women’s soccer team have been recognized as College Sport Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District selections. The announcement was made Tuesday in Philadelphia, highlighting student-athletes who have shown strong performance both academically and athletically.

Seniors Annabel Austen, Clare Robke, and Mallory Lucas were among those honored. Juniors Abbey Cook, Magali Capdevila, and Avery Chapel also received the distinction.

Goaltender Annabel Austen added this academic honor to a season where she achieved career bests in several categories, including goals against per match (1.17), save percentage (.814), saves per match (4.75), and wins (3). She was named First Team All-Ivy for the second year in a row.

Forward Clare Robke played 1,314 minutes during the season, which was the second-highest on the team. Her efforts contributed to four shutouts for Penn.

Mallory Lucas appeared in all 15 matches and started 10 times. She finished second on the team with 22 shots and third in points with four.

Abbey Cook earned her spot on the All-District list after being named First Team All-Ivy and Academic All-Ivy earlier this year. She set personal records with six goals, 13 points, and 13 shots on goal.

Magali Capdevila recorded career highs with three assists and five points while taking 16 shots for the third consecutive year; four of those were on target.

Midfielder Avery Chapel played in 14 matches with 13 starts. She scored two goals this season, including a game-winner against Harvard late in the year, and posted a career-best five points.
