The Ivy League announced on April 28 that six members of the Penn Quakers women’s lacrosse team received All-Ivy postseason honors, with sophomore Orly Sedransk named Co-Goalkeeper of the Year for a second consecutive season.
These awards recognize individual performances during the regular season and highlight key contributors to Penn’s success. The recognition is significant as it showcases both returning talent and new leaders emerging within the program.
Sedransk was awarded both Co-Goalkeeper of the Year and First Team All-Ivy, following a campaign where she posted a 5-2 record in league play, saved 139 out of 423 shots faced, maintained a goals-against average of 10.66, and recorded a .460 save percentage. She also had eight games with double-digit saves, including a career-high 17 saves against Dartmouth.
Catherine Berkery earned her first selection to First Team All-Ivy after leading Penn in goals (43) and points (55), with standout performances against ranked opponents such as Johns Hopkins and Georgetown. Patricia Columbia-Walsh secured Second Team All-Ivy after stepping into a starting role at attack, tallying career highs in assists (22), goals (25), and points (47). Natasha Yajadda was recognized on Second Team All-Ivy for her defensive efforts with team-leading totals in caused turnovers (22) and ground balls (35), while also scoring her first career goals this season. Lela Greene joined Yajadda on Second Team All-Ivy by contributing both offensively—scoring the game-winning goal against Princeton—and defensively throughout the year. Maggie Bankowski received Honorable Mention after leading Penn with 81 draw controls, ranking third among Ivy League players.
The team will next compete as the second seed in the Ivy League Tournament semifinals against Princeton on Friday, May 1 at Yale.
