The Ivy League announced on Apr. 30 that six University of Pennsylvania men’s lacrosse players have been recognized with All-Ivy honors for the 2026 season. Sophomore defenseman Dante Vardaro, junior long-stick midfielder Matthew Till, and junior short-stick defensive midfielder Anthony McMullan were named to the second-team All-Ivy, while senior Griffin Scane and juniors Ben Beacham and Davis Provost received honorable mention.
These selections highlight individual achievements across both offense and defense within the team. The announcement reflects strong performances by Penn athletes during a competitive Ivy League season.
Vardaro started all 13 games this year, leading his team with 17 caused turnovers and collecting 33 ground balls. He also contributed offensively with two goals against Villanova and Brown, as well as an assist versus Villanova. Till missed the final two games due to injury but was second on the team in caused turnovers with nine and scored his first collegiate goal at Princeton. McMullan led Penn in ground balls (45) and added four goals along with one assist.
Provost led the Quakers in goals (32) and points (43), scoring in every game this season, including a career-high six points against UMass. Scane was second in goals (23) despite moving from attack to midfield midseason due to injuries, while Beacham finished third on the team in both goals (16) and assists (8).
Other Ivy League postseason awards included Cornell’s Willem Firth as Attackman of the Year, Princeton’s Jack Stahl as Defensive Player of the Year, Cornell’s Jack Cascadden as Midfielder of the Year, Princeton’s Ryan Croddick as Goaltender of the Year, Yale’s Sean Grogan as Rookie of the Year, and Cornell’s coaching staff receiving Coaching Staff of the Year honors.
Penn concluded its season with a record of 7-6 overall and went 3-3 in Ivy League play.
