On Saturday, Nov. 29, the Eastern Eagles, featuring former Martin Luther King High School standout Sincere Cortez, defeated the Franklin & Marshall Diplomats 28-24 in the NCAA Division III Football Championship.

The contest was held at Shadek Stadium at noon and marked the first tournament meeting between the Eastern Eagles and the Franklin & Marshall Diplomats.

The Eastern Eagles are scheduled to play their next game on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 12 p.m. at RSR Pavilion.
