The Philadelphia Phillies sent several prospects to compete in the 2025 Arizona Fall League, contributing to the Surprise Saguaros’ sixth consecutive appearance in the AFL Championship Game and their third title in four years.
Among the standout performers was Dante Nori, who batted .308 over 12 games. Nori also recorded an inside-the-park home run with a notably fast time around the bases. Despite an early injury that sidelined him for two weeks, Nori remained determined to play. “I had no interest in going home whatsoever,” said Nori during an interview on the MLB Pipeline Podcast. “Even the Phillies, they know how I am. There was no chance I was going home out here. I wanted to play ball.”
Bryan Rincon returned for his second straight year in the Fall League after missing over a month of regular season action. While he struggled both defensively and offensively, Rincon did manage eight hard-hit balls above 100 mph, including a long home run on October 21.
Pitcher Eiberson Castellano used his time in Arizona to try and establish himself as a multi-inning option for future seasons after returning from a stint with the Minnesota Twins organization. He posted a .204 opponents’ batting average—best among qualified pitchers on his team—and recorded an 18/7 strikeout-to-walk ratio.
Dylan Campbell led all qualifying Saguaros players in slugging percentage (.625) and OPS (1.044), tying for most home runs with four and driving in at least one run in more than half of his games played. Defensively, Campbell started at five different positions.
Jack Dallas allowed only one run across nine innings pitched in four appearances, striking out 15 batters while using a diverse pitch mix.
Jaydenn Estanista continued his reputation as a high-strikeout reliever but struggled with walks; he struck out ten batters and walked seven over eight innings but finished strong with five scoreless outings late in the season, including a clean inning during the championship game.
Daniel Harper made seven relief appearances—six effective ones—compiling six strikeouts across just under seven innings as he aims for a Major League roster spot next spring.
Tommy McCollum appeared as a reliever in five games, allowing six runs (only two earned) while showing velocity up to 96 mph and recording five strikeouts.
Danyony Pulido joined late but added two scoreless outings after leading all Phillies Minor Leaguers (with at least 40 innings) this season with an ERA of 1.11. He relied primarily on his fastball and slider while generating swings-and-misses during his brief AFL stint.
