Aidan Miller, the Philadelphia Phillies’ No. 2 prospect and ranked 47th overall by MLB, hit his first home run at the Triple-A level for Lehigh Valley. Miller’s solo shot came in the opening inning and extended his hitting streak to six consecutive games. He also drew two walks and has now recorded hits in 11 of his last 12 games, continuing a strong finish to the 2025 season.
Since August 1, Miller is batting .352 with an on-base percentage of .488 and a slugging percentage of .617 over 34 games, a significant improvement after struggling earlier in the summer when he hit just .193 during June and July.
Other prospects across Minor League Baseball also had notable performances. Leo De Vries (Athletics) homered in his Double-A playoff opener for Midland, marking his fourth home run in as many games. Konnor Griffin and Esmerlyn Valdez (Pirates) combined for six hits and six RBIs for Altoona in their Double-A semifinal series opener. Colt Emerson (Mariners) hit his first Triple-A home run for Tacoma.
On the pitching side, Gage Jump (Athletics) struck out eight over nearly six scoreless innings for Midland after struggling late in the regular season. Brody Hopkins (Rays) kept Montgomery ahead with five scoreless frames, while George Klassen (Angels) fanned eight batters over six innings during his Triple-A debut for Salt Lake.
Valdez’s performance included reaching base four times and driving in five runs for Altoona. He ended the regular season with career highs of 26 home runs and 86 RBIs across two levels.
The performances highlight several prospects making impacts as their teams advance through postseason play or close out their Minor League seasons.
