With three weeks left in the Major League Baseball regular season, playoff races remain tight and several teams are vying for key postseason positions. The latest MLB Power Rankings reflect this competitive landscape, with the Milwaukee Brewers holding onto the top spot after reaching a franchise-best 34 games over .500. The Brewers need just 11 more wins to reach 100 victories for the first time in team history.

The Philadelphia Phillies remain second in the rankings and are positioned well for a strong finish. They trail the Brewers by five and a half games but lead the Los Angeles Dodgers by four games, with most of their remaining schedule at home.

The Toronto Blue Jays have moved up to third place as they contend in a close American League East race. Their rotation has taken on increased responsibility amid bullpen struggles. “The reality is that we have to go 100 pitches, especially this last month,” said pitcher Kevin Gausman. “We’ve taxed our bullpen enough. Now, we just need to get to that 100-pitch mark consistently. With the guys that we have, we can do that. We feel pretty confident that we can give one, maybe two [relievers] the night off each night.”

The Chicago Cubs rose to fourth following Hall of Fame inductions for Sammy Sosa and Derrek Lee over the weekend at Wrigley Field.

In fifth place are the Detroit Tigers, who now hold an eight-and-a-half game lead in their division and could soon clinch a playoff berth.

Other notable changes include movement from teams like the New York Yankees—who narrowed Toronto’s division lead—and significant performances from individual players such as Shohei Ohtani of the Dodgers and Rafael Devers of the Giants.

These rankings were compiled by MLB.com contributors Nathalie Alonso, Jason Catania, Mark Feinsand, Daniel Feldman, Doug Gausepohl, Will Leitch, Travis Miller, Arturo Pardavila, Andrew Simon and David Venn.

Phillies fans can look forward to 13 of their final 19 regular season games being played at home as they seek to secure their postseason position.
