Phillies Charities, Inc., the charitable organization connected to the Philadelphia Phillies, has announced its 2025 community heroes. The group will distribute more than $1.2 million in grants to 32 area charities, with each receiving $40,000 to support their work.
Bonnie Clark, President of Phillies Charities, Inc., said, “In celebration of our Season of Giving, it is our honor to award over $1.2 million in grants to 35 charitable organizations who have done so much for our community. These grants, which are possible because of the exceptional support of our fans, front office employees, sponsors and players, along with their wives and significant others, will help ensure that the important work these organizations do in our community will continue.”
The selected charities operate in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware as well as communities near the Phillies’ minor league affiliates in Clearwater, Reading and Lehigh Valley. Many recipients will be recognized at a holiday reception on December 3 at Citizens Bank Park and invited to attend a Phillies game against the Chicago Cubs on April 15.
Including these new grants and other contributions made throughout the year—such as $1.4 million given to partners like ALS United Mid-Atlantic, Bethesda Project, Police Athletic League and Philabundance—the total amount awarded by Phillies Charities, Inc. in 2025 reaches $2.6 million.
The team’s charitable efforts also include events under the “Season of Giving” presented by SEI. These initiatives take place across Philadelphia and surrounding areas during the holidays. More information can be found at phillies.com/community.
