Philadelphia Union has announced the acquisition of forward Milan Iloski from FC Nordsjælland on a permanent transfer. Iloski will join the active roster once his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) is received. He has signed a contract through 2027, with an option for 2028.
To complete the transfer, Philadelphia Union first obtained the number one spot in the MLS Waiver Order for the claim period that began July 15, 2025, from CF Montreal. This move allowed the club to claim Iloski off waivers. In exchange, Montreal received the 21st position in the waiver order, $100,000 in guaranteed General Allocation Money (GAM) for 2025, and up to an additional $150,000 in conditional GAM.
“Milan es un goleador dinámico e instintivo que prospera en la transición de ataque”, said Ernst Tanner, Sporting Director of Philadelphia Union. “Su capacidad para convertir oportunidades de gol es extraordinaria y tiene voluntad de defender. Esperamos integrarlo rápidamente en el equipo”.
Iloski, age 26, has scored 10 goals and provided one assist in just 14 appearances (three as a starter) for San Diego FC this season. In June, he set an MLS record by scoring four goals within a span of 12 minutes against Vancouver Whitecaps FC—the fastest four-goal performance in league history.
Before joining San Diego FC, Iloski played for Orange County SC in the USL Championship where he scored 43 goals and recorded 11 assists over two seasons and 70 matches. In 2022, he won the league’s Golden Boot after leading USL with 22 goals in 31 games.
Originally from Escondido, California, Iloski played three seasons at UCLA with totals of 23 goals and six assists across 46 appearances. Early in his career he also spent time with Golden State Force and Ogden City SC before signing as a homegrown player with Real Salt Lake in 2020 and making his debut on loan with Real Monarchs. In 2024 he played for Denmark’s FC Nordsjælland before returning to play in the United States.
“TRANSACCIÓN: Philadelphia Union firma al delantero Milan Iloski hasta finales de 2027 con una opción para 2028, el 5 de agosto de 2025.”
