Philadelphia Union has announced the signing of forward Ezekiel Alladoh from Swedish club IF Brommapojkarna. The transfer represents the largest fee in the club’s history. Alladoh, a 20-year-old Ghanaian striker, has agreed to a contract that runs through 2028, with options for 2029 and 2030. He will join the Union’s active roster after receiving his International Transfer Certificate and P1 Visa, filling an international roster slot.
“Ezekiel is a talented young striker who has shown encouraging potential in a competitive European league,” said Philadelphia Union Head Coach, Bradley Carnell. “His pace, directness, and vertical movement provide a strong foundation, and at 6’3” he brings strength and an undeniable presence to the position. His work rate and high-level mentality align well with our system, and we’re excited to welcome him to Philadelphia as he continues to develop his game.”
Alladoh comes to Major League Soccer following a season in Sweden’s top division where he scored eight goals and recorded one assist in 32 matches across all competitions for IF Brommapojkarna. He notably scored the winning goal against IFK Göteborg on September 21, 2025. Prior to his time in Sweden, Alladoh played for Accra Lions in Ghana’s Premier League after joining from Atlantic Sports Academy in 2024. During his stint with Accra Lions, he tallied three goals and one assist over 14 appearances. He made his professional debut on September 8, 2024 against Medeama SC and scored his first professional goal later that month against Karela United FC.
IF Brommapojkarna has previously developed players such as Viktor Gyökeres, Dejan Kulusevski, and Lucas Bergvall. On the international stage, Alladoh was named to Ghana’s provisional squad for the 2024 WAFU Zone B U-20 Cup of Nations.
The Union confirmed: “Philadelphia Union sign forward Ezekiel Alladoh on December 3, 2025.”
Alladoh is listed at six feet three inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He was born on September 13, 2005.
