Philadelphia Union has recalled 18-year-old midfielder CJ Olney Jr. from his loan at Lexington SC, the club announced Thursday.

Olney signed a Homegrown contract with Philadelphia Union on August 6, 2024. He made his first appearance for the team earlier that summer, debuting against Charlotte FC on June 22, 2024. Before joining the senior squad, Olney played for Union Academy and graduated from YSC Academy.

During his time with Philadelphia Union II over the past three seasons, Olney appeared in 57 matches and recorded 12 goals along with 18 assists. The club had initially sent him on loan to Lexington SC on July 11, 2025.
