Philadelphia Union will host Eintracht Frankfurt in an international friendly match on Saturday, August 2, with kickoff scheduled for 5:30 p.m. ET. The match will be streamed for free on the team’s official website.
Parking lots at Subaru Park will open at 12:30 p.m., and fans are encouraged to purchase parking passes online in advance due to limited availability.
A new addition to Subaru Plaza this year is a giant Adirondack chair provided by Visit St. Pete-Clearwater. Fans can take photos in their Union gear on the chair for a chance to appear on the club’s online fan wall.
For the 2025 season, a new sound system has been installed at Subaru Park. Diversified replaced all original speakers in the seating bowl, including 12 arrays—six on each side of the stadium. Smaller speakers at the North End were also replaced, and additional speakers were added outside the gates. Amplifiers and audio infrastructure were upgraded to meet standards used by other major sporting venues such as Lincoln Financial Field.
Union Yards, located near the Sons of Ben Tailgate lots, features a main hall with a full bar offering 20 beers on tap, wine, liquor, soft drinks, and multiple TVs showing Major League Soccer and Philadelphia sports events. It opens at 2:30 p.m., with happy hour pricing during its first hour of operation. The area also includes tailgate games, lounge seating, firepits, string lights, and trees.
All stadium gates will open at 4 p.m. ET for fans attending the friendly against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Concession stands have been updated throughout Subaru Park for 2025. New offerings include Colbie’s (Section 132), Primo Hoagies (Section 125), Cooper Cheese (Union Yards; Philly Cheesesteak Co. On The Roll at Section 107; Primepoint Club; Suites), Rita’s (Section 109), and Hatfield Hot Dogs available at various locations around the venue.
Subaru Park continues its zero landfill initiative that began in partnership with Subaru in 2021, making it the first zero landfill soccer stadium in Major League Soccer. The facility reduces, reuses, and recycles more than 90% of its waste while converting remaining waste into energy rather than sending it to landfills. In-stadium messaging helps fans sort their waste properly; since implementing these efforts, per-fan waste generation has been cut in half and recycling rates have increased fivefold across events held at Subaru Park.
