Philadelphia Union has announced that defender Neil Pierre will join Lyngby Boldklub, a Danish first-division club, on loan through June 2026.
Pierre, who is a graduate of YSC Academy, signed a Homegrown contract with the Union in February 2025. During his time with Union II over three seasons, he made 56 appearances and scored six goals in all competitions. His contributions helped Union II reach the MLS NEXT Pro Cup in 2024.
The loan move is part of Philadelphia Union’s ongoing partnership with Lyngby Boldklub. The arrangement is designed to give players additional opportunities for competitive experience and support international collaboration between the two clubs. According to the club, “Through this partnership, Lyngby serves as an additional platform for competitive experience while strengthening the Union’s global network for player and staff development.”
