Philadelphia Union II announced on March 20 that they have signed midfielder Paco Dadi to an MLS NEXT Pro contract. Dadi, who was born in France, will join the team’s active roster once his International Transfer Certificate is received. He is expected to miss most of the 2026 season due to injury but will continue his rehabilitation with the team.
The signing highlights Philadelphia Union II’s commitment to developing young talent within their system. The club said Dadi will be integrated into team activities during his recovery period.
“We are excited to add Paco to the club and believe he has the quality to develop within our system,” said Union II Head Coach Ryan Richter. “While he unfortunately sustained an injury in the beginning of the season, we believe not only in his work ethic, but also in his ability to make a strong impact when he returns to the field.”
Dadi began his youth career with Genoa’s U17 side in Italy, making five appearances and playing once for their U18 team. Before moving to Italy, he developed at Toulouse FC from ages six through eleven and continued at Balma SC until under-15 level in France. In early 2025, he joined Huesca Football School in Spain and remained there through June 2025.
