Philadelphia Union II and Toronto FC II finished with a 2-2 draw at Subaru Park on Wednesday night. The match was decided by a post-regulation shootout, with Toronto FC II securing the extra point.

Toronto took an early lead in the third minute through midfielder Antone Bossenberry. Philadelphia responded in the 14th minute when Kellan LeBlanc scored, assisted by Davis and Olivas. Just before halftime, Academy defender Jordan Griffin gave Union II the lead with his first MLS NEXT Pro goal. Toronto’s Michael Sullivan equalized in the 51st minute.

The game proceeded to a shootout after regulation time ended tied. Toronto won the shootout, earning an additional point.

Disciplinary action during the match included a caution for Toronto’s Dekwon Barrow in stoppage time.

Philadelphia Union II’s starting lineup featured Pierce Holbrook in goal, with defenders Isaiah LeFlore, Rafael Uzcategui, Neil Pierre, and Jordan Griffin. Midfielders included Cavan Sullivan, Nick Pariano, Kellan LeBlanc, Noah Probst, Sal Olivas, and Eddy Davis III. Substitutions were made throughout the second half.

For Toronto FC II, Adisa De Rosario started as goalkeeper. The team made several substitutions during the match but relied on goals from Bossenberry and Sullivan to secure their result.

Team notes highlighted that Jordan Griffin scored his first league goal and Kellan LeBlanc notched his second goal in four appearances. Homegrown forward Eddy Davis III made his 14th start of the season and recorded his fifth assist.
