Philadelphia Union II has announced the acquisition of defender Kaiden Moore on loan from Atlanta United 2 for the remainder of the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro season.

Moore began his career with Atlanta United’s Academy in 2022 and played a part in the U-16 team’s victory at the 2023 MLS NEXT Cup Championship. He signed with Atlanta United 2 on July 26, 2024, and made his professional debut earlier that season against Philadelphia Union II. Over two seasons with Atlanta United 2, Moore appeared in 23 matches, starting in 17 of them. He recorded one goal, an 89.5 percent passing accuracy, and won two-thirds of his aerial duels.

“Kaiden is a promising young center back who has already shown an adept ability to read the game and distribute the ball under pressure,” said Ryan Richter, Head Coach, Philadelphia Union II. “We’re looking forward to integrating him into our group and believe his skill set can play a role in our push during the second half of the season.”

On the international stage, Moore has received call-ups to both the U.S. Youth National U17 and U18 teams. He debuted for the U18 squad in a friendly match against Norway on March 25, 2025, which ended in a 4-3 win for the United States.

The transaction sees Moore join Philadelphia Union II as they aim to strengthen their roster for upcoming matches this season.
