Philadelphia Union will host New York City FC on Saturday, October 4, with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET at Subaru Park. The event, known as “U Thank U Night,” is presented by Independence Blue Cross and will be broadcast on MLS Season Pass via Apple TV.

Parking lots for the match will open at 9:30 a.m., and fans are encouraged to purchase parking passes in advance to secure a spot. Passes can be bought online, but availability is limited.

The club has launched its new official mobile app powered by Theta Network. The Philadelphia Union App is available for iOS and Android devices and aims to provide an immersive experience whether fans are at Subaru Park or elsewhere. Supporters are advised to download the app before arriving so they can access their tickets and explore its features.

Fans attending the game can use the app to register for various U Thank U prizes exclusive to Saturday’s match. According to the team, “In addition to the raffle, at halftime, IBX Parachutes will rain down from the catwalk bringing varied prizes such as gift cards, scarves or jerseys. Select fans will randomly be chosen to come down to the field for a Crossbar Challenge at halftime for a chance to get your Season Tickets comped.” Further details about these activations are available through the club’s website.

A new feature on Subaru Plaza this year is a giant Adirondack chair provided by Visit St. Pete-Clearwater. Fans can take photos in Union gear while sitting in the chair for a chance to appear on the team’s online fan wall.

Union Yards, located near the Sons of Ben Tailgate lots, offers a large bar with 20 beers on tap along with wine and soft drinks. The venue includes communal tables and multiple TVs showing Major League Soccer games as well as other Philadelphia sporting events. It opens at 4:30 p.m., with happy hour pricing—$10 per beer—for the first hour.

Tailgate games, lounge seating, firepits, and string lights are part of “The GIANT Tailgate at Union Yards.” All stadium gates open at 6 p.m.

Concession stands have been updated for 2025 with several new food options throughout Subaru Park including Colbie’s (Section 132), Primo Hoagies (Section 125), Cooper Cheese offerings (Union Yards; Philly Cheesesteak Co. On The Roll at Section 107; Primepoint Club; Suites), Rita’s (Section 109), and Hatfield Hot Dogs at various locations.

Subaru Park continues its environmental initiative as Major League Soccer’s first zero landfill soccer stadium. Since declaring zero-landfill status in 2021, more than 90% of waste is reduced, reused or recycled; remaining waste is converted into energy so that nothing enters landfills. In-stadium messaging helps fans sort waste properly—a process that has cut individual fan waste generation in half and increased recycling rates five-fold.
