Fiesta Hispana will take place at Subaru Park as the Philadelphia Union face Chicago Fire FC this weekend. The event aims to highlight Hispanic culture through food, music, and performances.
Food vendors will be set up at Subaru Plaza, including returning businesses Café Tinto, Empanada Bar, and Puyero Venezuelan Flavor. These vendors offer Colombian, Argentinian, and Venezuelan cuisine. A new addition this year is Taqueria Dos Hermanos, which will serve Mexican dishes. Food will be available until halftime.
At Union Yards, a specialty cocktail called Spicy Paloma made with Patron tequila will be offered exclusively for Fiesta Hispana. Starting at 4:30pm, there will be live performances of Venezuela Salsa and Latin Jazz on stage.
During the match, AP Palacios and Kevin Casey will make Spanish language announcements over the PA system. The halftime show will feature Danza Tenochtli performing Mexican Folkloric dance.
Tickets for the event are available for purchase online.
