The Philadelphia Union secured a 4-0 victory over Chicago Fire FC at Subaru Park on Saturday night. The match saw Tai Baribo score in the 34th minute, followed by Kai Wagner adding another goal in the 64th minute from a set piece. Danley Jean Jacques made it 3-0 in the 73rd minute, and Milan Iloski finished the scoring in the 80th minute. Goalkeeper Andrew Rick kept his fifth clean sheet of the season.

Referee Rubiel Vazquez officiated the game, with assistant referees Corey Rockwell and Justin Howard. The weather was clear and sunny at 76 degrees.

Baribo’s goal marked his 16th of the season, which ties him with Alejandro Bedoya for sixth most MLS goals scored in club history at 25. Wagner recorded his tenth MLS assist this season, while Iloski scored his first MLS goal for Philadelphia. Rick’s performance contributed to maintaining an unbeaten streak at home against Chicago Fire FC that now stands at fourteen matches.

The Union will next play FC Cincinnati away at TQL Stadium on August 30.

Lineups for Philadelphia included Andrew Rick; Jakob Glesnes, Kai Wagner, Olwethu Makhanya, Frankie Westfield, Jovan Lukic (Jeremy Rafanello entered in the 84th minute), Danley Jean Jacques, Milan Iloski (replaced by Alejandro Bedoya in the 84th), Quinn Sullivan (Cavan Sullivan substituted in the 74th), Tai Baribo (Chris Donovan came on in the 81st), and Bruno Damiani (Mikael Uhre substituted in the 74th). Unused substitutes were Pierce Holbrook; Nathan Harriel, Olivier Mbaizo, and Jesus Bueno.

Chicago’s lineup featured Chris Brady; Leonardo Barroso (Jonathan Dean replaced him at halftime), Christopher Cupps, Jack Elliott, Andrew Gutman, Sergio Oregal Jr. (Kellyn Acosta came on in the 75th), Dje D’Avilla (André Franco entered in the 69th), Brian Gutierrez, Philip Zinckernagel (Maren Haile-Selassie replaced him also in the 69th), Hugo Cuypers (Tom Barlow entered in the 75th), and Jonathan Bamba. Substitutes not used were Jeff Gal; Sam Rogers, Omar González, and Mauricio Pineda.

Yellow cards were issued to Jovan Lukic of Philadelphia and Leonardo Barroso and Sergio Oregal Jr. of Chicago during different stages of play.
