The Philadelphia Union will conclude their regular season on Saturday with a match against Charlotte FC at Bank of America Stadium. The game, scheduled for 6 p.m. ET, will be broadcast on MLS Season Pass via Apple TV.

Having already secured the Supporters’ Shield and home-field advantage throughout the 2025 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs, the Union enter Decision Day with a club-record 20 wins. Their position at the top of Major League Soccer is guaranteed regardless of Saturday’s outcome. The team’s first playoff match is set to take place about a week after this final regular season fixture.

If the Union win against Charlotte FC, they would establish new club records for both points (69) and wins (21) in a single season.

“I feel I would be giving, everyone a disservice, and the players as well, if I started preaching from a different narrative now. So I spoke about every game we put all our eggs into that basket, right? And that’s the way I feel we go into this game,” Carnell said.

“It’s another chance to end the regular season on a historical note for this club, and I think everyone’s hungry for that.”

Charlotte FC faces higher stakes on Decision Day. The result could determine their position in the conference standings and whether they secure home-field advantage in Round One of the playoffs. Currently in fourth place, Charlotte could drop as low as sixth depending on Saturday’s result and other outcomes. Head Coach Dean Smith is expected to field his strongest lineup for this decisive match.

Following Saturday’s match, attention will turn to the postseason. Fans can find more information about attending upcoming playoff games at Subaru Park by visiting https://www.philadelphiaunion.com/tickets/playoffs/.
