Philadelphia Union announced on May 1 a series of themed activities and operational details for the upcoming Star Wars Night, scheduled during their home match against Nashville SC on Saturday, May 2. The event will take place at Subaru Park with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
The announcement outlines special entertainment options for fans, including costume competitions for adults and children, photo opportunities with characters from the Star Wars universe, and themed beverages available exclusively at Union Yards. Attendees are reminded that lightsabers, blasters, metal or hard plastic costume accessories and props will not be permitted inside Subaru Park.
Parking lots will open at 2:30 p.m., with fans encouraged to purchase parking passes in advance due to limited availability. All gates open at 6 p.m., while the Union shop opens at 5 p.m. Subaru Plaza will offer additional family-friendly activities such as an inflatable Millennium Falcon tour and an AT-AT obstacle course. Kids Club members can meet Jedi Phang between 6:15 p.m. and 6:45 p.m., followed by a youth costume contest in Phang’s Playground.
The club is also organizing a non-perishable food drive in partnership with Penn Medicine during home games in May to support World Hunger Day on May 28. Fans are invited to drop off donations at the U-Serve tent located on Subaru Plaza during matches on May 2 and May 16.
