The Philadelphia Union announced on Apr. 17 that it will host a Subaru: Gear for Good donation drive during its game on April 18, in partnership with Subaru of America. Fans attending the match are encouraged to bring new or gently used soccer gear such as balls, cleats, goalie gloves, shin guards, socks, and shorts to support families in need. Donations can be dropped off before the game at the U-Serve Tent located on Subaru Plaza. All collected items will benefit Leveling the Playing Field.
The initiative is part of Greener Goals and reflects the club’s ongoing commitment to volunteerism through its U-Serve platform, which is presented by Bimbo Bakeries USA. The U-Serve program connects fans with various volunteer opportunities across Greater Philadelphia and offers tiered rewards including team merchandise and exclusive experiences.
Fans interested in learning more about volunteering can visit the U-Serve Tent during pregame activities or access additional information online. The club said: “Visit U-Serve for more information on upcoming opportunities!”
