Philadelphia Union Academy has announced that two of its players, Caleb Chabala and Jaxson Fulmer, have been selected to participate in the upcoming U-15 Boys’ National Team training camp. The camp is scheduled to take place from October 19 to 26 at the Elite Athlete Training Center in Chula Vista, California.
The training camp will be led by Under-16 Boys National Team head coach Alex Aldaz. This event is part of the U.S. Soccer Federation’s ongoing effort to implement the “U.S. Way” philosophy, which aims to provide more opportunities for young athletes to progress through the national team system with a goal of representing the country at international competitions.
A total of 24 players from 16 different clubs have been called up for this camp. Of these, 21 players are affiliated with 14 Major League Soccer academies. Orlando City has three representatives on the roster, while D.C. United, Philadelphia Union, San Jose Earthquakes, and St. Louis City each have two players selected. Other MLS clubs represented include Atlanta United, Charlotte FC, Chicago Fire, Colorado Rapids, Columbus Crew, LAFC, Nashville SC, New England Revolution, and New York Red Bulls. Additionally, two players come from Barca Residency Academy and one from Silva Soccer Academy.
All participants were born after January 1, 2011.
