Philadelphia Union Academy goalkeeper Matthew White has been named to the United States roster for the 2026 Concacaf U-17 Qualifiers, which will take place from February 5 to 10 in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The U.S. team is seeking qualification for its twentieth appearance at the FIFA U-17 World Cup, scheduled for November in Qatar.

White is among three Philadelphia Union representatives involved with the squad. Forward Malik Jakupovic of Union II has also been selected, while midfielder Willyam Ferreira is listed as an alternate and may join if a replacement is needed before the first match.

The United States was placed in Group E and will play its opening match against St. Vincent and the Grenadines on Thursday, February 5 at Arnos Vale Stadium in Kingstown. The team faces St. Kitts and Nevis on Saturday, February 7, followed by a final group game against the Dominican Republic on Tuesday, February 10. Broadcast details are expected to be announced later.

Preparation for the qualifiers includes a pre-camp starting January 27 in West Palm Beach, Florida before traveling to St. Vincent on February 2.

U.S. Soccer’s Youth National Teams participate in Concacaf qualifying tournaments as part of efforts under its “U.S. Way” philosophy to expand youth programming and create more opportunities for players aiming to reach senior national teams.
