The Philadelphia Eagles have announced a new multi-year partnership with Edwards Lifesciences, a company recognized for its work in structural heart innovation. The collaboration aims to promote heart health among residents of Philadelphia.

As part of the agreement, Edwards Lifesciences becomes the Official Medical Technology Partner of the Eagles. Both organizations will launch “Off the Sidelines,” a program designed to increase awareness about heart valve failure, which affects an estimated two million people in the United States. The initiative encourages fans aged 50 and older to participate in free heart screenings.

The first screening event is scheduled for Saturday, December 6 at Lincoln Financial Field. Attendees will receive an educational presentation on heart valve health and have the opportunity to interact with a former Eagles player. Research indicates that early screening plays an important role in detecting heart valve disease. Additional information can be found at OffTheSidelines.com.

Edwards Lifesciences will also serve as Presenting Partner of the Eagles Legends platform, highlighting contributions from former players both during and after their football careers.

“We are thrilled to partner with Edwards Lifesciences to help promote heart-healthy habits in our community,” said Brian Napoli, Senior Vice President, Corporate Partnerships, Philadelphia Eagles. “Edwards has earned recognition as a leading innovator in structural heart disease through its unwavering dedication to helping people live longer, healthier, and more fulfilling lives. We look forward to working with them in a variety of ways that support heart health for those in the Greater Philadelphia region.”

Both organizations plan to use their platforms together to benefit Eagles fans and local communities by raising awareness about heart health and improving access to care.

“The majority of those with heart valve disease go undiagnosed or untreated, with underserved communities facing the greatest barriers,” said Dan Lippis, Corporate Vice President and General Manager, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement, Edwards Lifesciences. “We hope to raise greater awareness of heart valve failure in partnership with the Philadelphia Eagles by offering free screenings and education to take heart valve health off the sidelines.”
