Penn wrestling secures three individual titles at F&M Open

The University of Pennsylvania wrestling team participated in the F&M Open at Franklin & Marshall, where three athletes secured individual titles. Davis Motyka (125 lbs), CJ Composto (141 lbs), and Kelly Dunnigan (149 lbs) each won their respective weight classes.

Dunnigan, a junior, and Motyka, a freshman, achieved their first collegiate tournament victories. Senior Composto earned his first title of the season. Both Composto and Motyka finished with 5-0 records, while Dunnigan won all six of his matches.

Other Penn wrestlers also competed successfully. Deven Casey (133 lbs), Wyatt Stout (157 lbs), Andy Troczynski (165 lbs), Jackson Zimmerman (197 lbs), and John Vinciguerra (285 lbs) each recorded wins during the event. Xander Kuokkanen (184 lbs) and Matthew Cruise (285 lbs) also represented Penn in Lancaster.

The Quakers now hold a 3-0 record for the season and will continue their road trip on Sunday, January 11, facing Northern Colorado at 4 p.m.

Penn baseball completes sweep over Harvard with 7-6 victory

Penn baseball defeated Harvard 7-6 on April 26 to complete a weekend sweep. Freshman pitcher Ben Moulin delivered five scoreless innings as eight Quakers recorded hits. The team now prepares for an important series against Brown.
