The University of Pennsylvania has released its wrestling schedule for the 2025-26 season, marking the start of what is being called the “Valenti Era.” The announcement was made Monday morning.

Head coach Matt Valenti commented on the upcoming season, stating, “This season, we will have some awesome new opportunities to challenge ourselves as we navigate the path to the NCAA Championships in Cleveland. Our schedule is designed to shape the team into what we need to be when March arrives.”

The Quakers begin their season at the Journeymen Collegiate Classic on November 9. For the first time in program history, they will compete at the Battle of Yorktown on November 15. Penn then hosts three consecutive home meets: Hofstra on November 22, Keystone Classic on November 23, and UVA on December 22.

In January, Penn starts by participating in the Southern Scuffle hosted by Chattanooga from January 3-4. This is followed by appearances at the F&M Open (January 9) and a dual meet against Northern Colorado (January 11).

Ivy League competition begins with a home match against Columbia on January 25. The team then travels to Brown (January 31) and Harvard (February 1). On February 8, Penn hosts Cornell before heading out for matches at Lehigh (February 13) and Princeton (February 14). The regular season concludes with a home meet against Rider on February 19.

Postseason action starts March 8 at Columbia University in New York City for the Ivy League Championships. The team aims to secure automatic bids for the NCAA Wrestling Championships scheduled for March 19-21 at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

The full schedule includes both non-conference and Ivy League opponents, with several key matches set at The Palestra in Philadelphia.
