Douglas N. Brush Head Coach Krissy Turner has announced that Kamryn Stablein will join the University of Pennsylvania women’s soccer staff as an assistant coach.

“We are excited to have Kamryn join our program. Her passion for coaching and developing players is second to none. Our goalkeepers will be in great hands with Kam’s ability to teach and lead. Additionally, our student-athletes will benefit from Kam’s drive to be a winner,” Turner said.

Stablein brings experience as both a goalkeeper and coach, having worked with youth, collegiate, and professional athletes. She has also been involved in identifying talent for the U.S. Women’s National Team pipeline through ID2.

Since 2018, Stablein has served as Technical Goalkeeper Coach at The Keeper Institute in South Jersey, where she led training sessions for goalkeepers at various levels and organized clinics across the country. She has worked directly with professional-level goalkeepers competing in leagues such as the NWSL and Gainbridge Super League.

Her previous roles include coaching with Highline Premier FC in West Seattle, where she was head coach for several teams and contributed to the club’s goalkeeper program development. In Fall 2025, she served as head coach of The Bush School girls’ soccer program.

As a player, Stablein started her college career at the University of Delaware, earning Second Team All-CAA honors and captaining the Blue Hens during one of their most successful seasons. She later transferred to Temple University, where she completed her undergraduate degree while serving as team captain and earning multiple AAC honors; she ranks tenth all-time in saves for Temple women’s soccer.

Stablein holds a master’s degree in Higher Education with a concentration in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Temple University. She currently lives in Philadelphia.
