The University of Pennsylvania women’s soccer team will host Dartmouth College in an Ivy League matchup on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Rhodes Field.
Penn and Dartmouth both hold a 4-2-2 overall record this season, with Penn seeking its first Ivy League win after a loss in its opening conference match. Dartmouth enters the contest with a 1-0 record in Ivy League play, having recently secured a victory over Harvard in Cambridge, their first such win in two decades.
Historically, the Quakers have recorded 11 wins, 16 losses, and six draws against the Big Green. Their last meeting ended in a scoreless draw in 2024. At home, Penn has posted nine wins, six losses, and two draws against Dartmouth. Most recent matches between the teams have been closely contested; eight of the last nine games were decided by one goal or less.
Senior goalkeeper Annabel Austen is expected to start for Penn. In last year’s match against Dartmouth, Austen made seven saves and did not allow a goal. Three Quaker players—Mallory Lucas (16 shots), Magali Capdevila (11), and Abbey Cook (10)—have reached double digits in shot attempts this season. Avery Chapel follows closely with nine shots.
Sophomore Eden Veenema has played every minute of each match so far this year for Penn. Despite some setbacks, Penn is tied for the second-best overall record in the Ivy League with a .625 win percentage.
Dartmouth’s offense is led by sophomore forward Stephanie Lathrop, who has accumulated 11 points and shares the team lead in goals with Maeve Theobald at four each. Junior goalkeeper Ola Goebel has started the last two matches for Dartmouth and kept clean sheets while making five saves.
The game will be available to watch on ESPN+ and live stats will be provided online.
