The University of Pennsylvania women’s soccer team is set to play against Brown University in an Ivy League match on Saturday at Stevenson-Pincince Field in Providence, Rhode Island. The game is scheduled for 6 p.m.

Penn enters the match with a record of 4-2-3 overall and 0-1-1 in Ivy League play, while Brown holds a 7-2-2 overall record and is 1-1 in the conference. Fans can watch the game live on ESPN+, which offers coverage of all Penn volleyball home matches, road Ivy matches, and select non-conference games as part of its subscription service.

Historically, Penn has faced Brown 33 times, with a record of 13 wins, 15 losses, and five draws. Their most recent meeting ended in a scoreless draw in 2024 at Rhodes Field. In recent years, competition between the teams has been close; eight of their last nine encounters were decided by one goal or less. Penn’s last victory over Brown was in 2018 with a score of 2-0. Between 2009 and 2014, Penn maintained a six-match unbeaten streak against Brown.

On the field this season, Abbey Cook leads Penn with three goals and six points after scoring a match-tying goal against Dartmouth. The team’s depth is reflected by having started 19 different players so far this year; freshman Casey Forman recently made her first start.

Junior Taylor Ferraro contributed her second assist of the season against Dartmouth and has started every game this year. Defensively, Penn limited Dartmouth to just four shots last weekend—the fourth time this season they have allowed six shots or fewer.

Sophomore Lily White had three shots (two on target) against Brown last season and will aim to repeat that performance. Senior goalkeeper Annabel Austen currently leads the Ivy League in goals-against average (.388) and save percentage (.895), while ranking third in shutouts per game (.500).
