The University of Pennsylvania women’s golf team is set to compete in the Princeton Invitational this weekend. The event will be held at Springdale Golf Club in Princeton, New Jersey, a par-71 course measuring 6,086 yards. The tournament spans two days and consists of 54 holes, with play beginning at 9 a.m. each day.
A total of 13 teams are participating, including all six Ivy League programs: Princeton (host), Columbia, Dartmouth, Harvard, Penn, and Yale. Other schools in the field are UAlbany, Boston University, FDU, Georgetown, Rutgers, St. John’s, and Seton Hall.
The format for the competition is six-play-four-score. Each team will field six players per round; only the four lowest scores from each round will count toward the team’s total score.
Penn’s lineup includes seniors Bridget O’Keefe and Julie Shin; junior Maggie Ni; sophomore Claire Lu; freshmen Mi Li and Adrienne Ahn-Upton. Junior Madeleine Zang will compete as an individual.
