Orly Sedransk, a goalkeeper for the University of Pennsylvania women’s lacrosse team, has been named to the Third Team of the Nike Lacrosse Preseason Media All-Americans by Inside Lacrosse Women. The announcement comes as the 2026 NCAA Division I women’s lacrosse season is set to begin.
Sedransk previously received recognition as a USA Lacrosse Third Team Preseason All-American. During her freshman year in 2025, she was awarded Ivy League Rookie and Goalkeeper of the Year honors. She also earned Honorable Mention All-American from both USA Lacrosse and Inside Lacrosse, as well as being named to the IWLCA Third Team All-American.
In the 2025 season, Sedransk recorded an overall record of 11-7 and went 5-2 in Ivy League play. She saved 180 out of 519 shots faced, with a goals-against average of 9.99 and a .490 save percentage. Sedransk achieved a career-high with 14 saves in three different games: against #5 Princeton and Towson during the regular season, and against #21 Army in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
The Penn Quakers will start their 2026 campaign on Saturday, February 14, when they host Drexel at Franklin Field at noon.
